DIY Book Lamp Part 2

Since many of you are interested in transforming your old and abandoned books into lamps, I decided to post more inspirations and tutorials today.

 The first is the most common book lamp, and features stacked books. HGTV has a step-by-step tutorial.

 Or, you could slip this inexpensive accent light from  Instructables onto your shelves.

 This candle book lamp is an interesting take on those little lights I usually see at Christmas. Attaching it to a book gives it a sturdier base, and you could keep the Holiday theme by using Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” or other holiday favorite.
